COMBINED INDEMNIFIED BINDINGS LIST

The annual Combined Indemnified Bindings List, long considered one of the most important and exclusive benefits of NSSRA membership, is available at no cost to NSSRA members.

For the first time, we are making available to all retailers a special Boot/Binding Compatibility Notice. With the many boot-binding combinations that customers from which they may choose, the ASTM-International F27 Snow Ski Committee, which makes safety standards for snow sports equipment, has issued a notice advising customers and retailers of the risks when using boots and bindings that were not designed to be used together. NSSRA dues, which start at $99.00 and are based on the number of stores, are a fraction of the value of the services and programs offered by NSSRA. Your dues are critical in allowing the Association to continue providing these services. New to the growing list of NSSRA services is the POS Data program in partnership with SportsOneSource, providing weekly sales information to participating NSSRA members. New to NSSRA members is the Ship Skis program, designed to drive store traffic by offering discounted service to customers who want to ship their gear rather than rent. In addition to exclusive publications like the NSSRA Retailer Compensation and Benefits Report and the annual Snow Sports Participation Report, NSSRA offers services that help you keep your costs under control. A complete listing of these services can be found below.
SHIPPING PROGRAMS
NSSRA members who participate in this new program will be able to ship their customers’ gear to and from any home, business, or ski resort in the United States or abroad. Through Ship Skis, shipping fees are offered at discount rates.
Working with FedEx, NSSRA provides members with a program to better control small parcel shipping costs.

Working with YRC, NSSRA provides a similar program for less-than-truckload (LTL) incoming and outgoing freight.
In conjunction with the new NSSRA ShipSkis gear shipping program, SporTube is offering a SporTube hard case for rental purposes, available at NSSRA-member pricing in a custom charcoal color. ASTM INTERNATIONAL
NSSRA represents snow sports retailers at the semi-annual meetings of the ASTM F27 Committee on Snow Skiing. ASTM International, formerly the American Society for Testing and Materials, is one of the largest voluntary standards development organizations in the world. It develops standards, practices and guidelines for more than 130 areas. In particular, the F27 Committee is responsible for the guidelines that evolve into the shop practices specified by manufacturers in the technicians' manuals. NSSRA works to ensure that standards being developed by the Committee lead to procedures compatible with ski and snowboard shops' day-to-day operations.
